The one thing Cap did that was memorable is that he tried to do his best at being the president and thats what he did, he made everyone glad that he was the one chosen to be the president. This connects to my life because i try to do my best in school work and i always do, i am glad when i do my best and so are my teachers.

This connects to my life because when someone tried to make fun of me i mostly ignored it but eventually i gave a reaction and regretted it. I wish i could have done what Capricorn did, Ignore them.

This connects to my life because I moved to a new house and a new school. I was in 1st grade and didn't have any friends until I met a girl and became frieds with her. Cap Anderson is a boy, who is 13 years old. He is tall and skinny as a rake. He has probally never been near a barbershop because his hair is long blond flyaway hair stretched all the way down to the middle of his back. His clothes is a tie-dye shirt and his shoes that looked like the pioneer day project(corn husks shoes). Those are Caps A. physical features. Cap Anderson doesn't believe in violence and he didn't know what a television or a police were that was shocking.That is Caps personality.
Rain is an adult with hippie clothes, pleasant blouse, long cotton skirt, a day glow headband with a yin yang disk in the center of her forehead. Rain redid her look with blonde hair and finally had stylishly dressed. She looks better with her new look. Rain believes that violence isn't the answer, she says finish what you start, and she sees things through the end of everything. I agree with Rain.
The thing Cap did that was memorable was that Cap succeeded in school and with Rain doing different things at home,that stuff made people around Cap happy. This connects to my life because I would always succeed in school and i helped out my family; and that stuff made people around me happy.

He stood strong and kept going on with his life and didn't care what others thought about him. He cared about how he saw himself and thats all that mattered. I can connect to this because I don't care how others look at me because their opinion doesn't matter to me. I wish I could have the will to ignore others that dislike me but I don't and know that Cap did makes me realize that I have to try my best to be myselfannd make friends not enemies.

One important thing that Cap did in the story that was truly important to me is that no matter how bad kids bullied and teased him he kept his chin up and moved forward. I can connect to this because once I saw I kid who was being pick on at school but he stuck in their and held on. That is one of the many memorable things Cap did.
I think that what I most "Admire" about Cap is his determination. He never gave up on being the leader or president of the whole school and I like what he did and how he never gave in to just throwing the towel, or being mean to any body he wanted to show that, what Rain had taught him to know really was something to be proud of doing than just flipping out on people. Cap, did set his foot down for some of the silly things people were asking him to do, but never in the book did I read that Cap, gave in and was being mean. And that is what I admire most about him that his mellow spirit is always keeping other people grounded, I just wish that people (or I) could be more like Cap.

Capricorn Anderson knew how Sophie Donnelly felt about her father, and what she went through with him. Sophie's father bought her a bracelet ,and he showed it to her and Sophie said it was beautiful but her dad wanted to see if she liked it so he could have it engraved.Sophie's father never showed , and never even sent the bracelet through the mail. Capricorn was a very nice, and sweet person. While he was walking he seen a small jewelry shop with the same bracelet Sophie's father had bought her . He went inside the jewelry shop and bought it for her , and he had it engraved with ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE. Capricorn sent it to Sophie with no return address so she would think it was from her father . That was really sweet to me ,and very memorable and important in the book . I loved that part !

ReplyDeleteCapricorn Anderson knew how Sophie Donnelly felt about her father, and what she went through with him. Sophie's father bought her a bracelet ,and he showed it to her and Sophie said it was beautiful but her dad wanted to see if she liked it so he could have it engraved.Sophie's father never showed , and never even sent the bracelet through the mail. Capricorn was a very nice, and sweet person. While he was walking he seen a small jewelry shop with the same bracelet Sophie's father had bought her . He went inside the jewelry shop and bought it for her , and he had it engraved with ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE. Capricorn sent it to Sophie with no return address so she would think it was from her father . That was really sweet to me ,and very memorable and important in the book . I loved that part !

ReplyDeleteThe one memorable thing cap did was to be a good president and when also he tried to drive Rain to the hospital. He couldn't drive but he tried anyways. He risked his life to take Rain to the hospital.

ReplyDeleteOne of the most memorable or important thing to me is that he tried really hard to fit in. He also tried really hard to be the perfect president for them and grant their requests. This connects to my life because I will also try to do all the work my teacher assigns me to do.

ReplyDeleteThe most memorable thing Cap did (well, I have 2 in mind) was trying to be the best president he could be and help people with his title, not be a tyrant.
He also went back to school and said bye to ALL the kids by name that went to his school.
